While contemporary graphic design and Chinese lettering meeting the traditional Bamboo theatre, this is an annual flagship Chinese culture event hold by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority. The custom design Bei Wei Logotype along with typography of names of different Chinese drama type is applied on the traditional flower panels. The theatre was construed besides the beautiful victoria harbour.
西九大戲棚是香港少有的大型戲曲藝術節，今年雖然只是第三年舉辦，但為了即將建設的西九文化區戲曲中心作準備，本屆的演出陣容是戲曲圈裡少有的大堆頭，包括了中國戲劇家協會梅花奬藝術團, 劇種包括京、崑、秦腔、越、川、黃梅、錫、揚、淮、湘等。
